As a modern furniture manufacturer with a history of more than 90 years, Italy’s Calligaris is a truly unique business. And it all started back in the early 1920s with the vision of an Italian furniture craftsman named Antonio Calligaris.
Company took the opportunity of the 1990s to expand into other lines including bedroom furniture, sofas, tables, and accessories. This was also a time when Calligaris began using materials other than wood. The company started producing furniture using things like aluminium, plastic, leather, and even glass.
The current physiognomy of Calligaris is born from the union between its artisanal tradition, synonymous with quality, care and Italian style and the industrialization that has made it a leader in the furniture industry.
